In his latest Discotech EP, Never Dull straddles the line between Disco and Techno, keeping the warmth and organic feel of his now established production style.
‘Esta Llama’ brings a timeless dancefloor track with Spanish vocals, Latin percussions, and a guitar/bassline fusion straight out of the Rodgers & Edwards playbook. ‘Push The Freak’ follows with a dark, classic Techno twist taking you back to the raw roots of electronic music, where lines between genres weren’t entirely defined. While ‘Take That’ touches down in Chicago‘s Acid House era with a bass and vocals that demand your presence on the dance floor.
“I’m always trying to push the boundaries by experimenting with different sounds and genres. In Discotech, I wanted to incorporate techno elements that can often seem ‘cold,’ but still keeping the ‘warmth’ and ‘organic’ feel of a Disco track. Pairing these elements together may not seem like an obvious choice, but I’m happy with the final result.” – Never Dull
